We got into FeedMyApp within 24 hours of submission. I didn’t even submit to Ziipa, so they must have found us on KillerStartups.com or FeedMyApp.com.

It did cost $49. But for that type of service, I think it’s well worth it!

So who’s Missy Flowers? I don’t know. I came up with the name because I wanted the keyword ‘flowers’ in the domain, and needed to add something to make it easy to recall and spell, and most importantly brandable.
I can’t recall how many words I tried before coming up with ‘Missy Flowers’. I guess it made me think of Missy Elliott (American singer) and Missy Higgins (Australian singer).
According to Dictionary.com, the definitions of Missy include:
I rather like the sound of Missy Flowers. It sounds feminine, young, relaxed, and has a certain ring to it. I think the name suits the target audience I’m going after very well, mainly 25 to 49 year old women.
Missy Flowers is the first production under the Marketing Munch brand, my new socially-motivated, shared-profit company with a pledge to use 25% of profits to help make a difference.
