In the five months since its launch, the Financial Times iPad app has:
- attracted 400,000 downloads;
- accounts for 10% of the paper’s new digital subscriptions; and
- generated more than £1m (approximately $1.6 million USD) in advertising revenue.
Traditional print advertising now accounts for just 40% of the FT’s overall revenue.
